GOALS FOR 2012-2013 SCHOOL YEAR:

• Link 1,200 struggling students with trained volunteers in 30 East Bay schools to increase proficiency in literacy, science and math
  
  
• Make it possible for 475 inner city kids to outdoor education camps and field trips designed to teach students about natural science while building positive social skills
  
  
• Partner with Alameda County Food Bank to assemble and deliver 36,000 nutritious food bags to the most vulnerable school children to take home on the weekends
  
  
• Increase staff support to reach new children through our Succeeding by Reading and Science Horizons programs
